Our Story
The Rusty Anchor Smokehouse sits on Lakeland Drive in Pryor — not because it's the busiest corner, but because it's the corner where we wanted to build something that lasts.
We started with a single smoker, a handful of regulars, and the stubborn belief that good barbecue doesn't need a highway frontage to be worth the drive. That smoker is still going. The regulars brought their neighbors. The neighbors brought their appetite.
Everything we pull from the pit is done on-site, in-house, and on a schedule that answers to the meat — not the clock. Our rubs are mixed weekly. Our sauces are cooked in batches. Our sides are made from scratch before the doors open.
